The days of the week are something that are in constant use within our language and conversation. But what many do not know is there are secret hidden messages embedded within many of the word we use giving them a far more significant and symbolic meaning than just a simple sound.
The days of the week are of Latin origin being named by the Romans with the words for the Sun, the Moon and the five known planets of the time. These names have continued into most European languages, with English names we use having an Anglo-Saxon influence.
And according to astronomical findings; below are secret meaning behind the days of the week.
1. Sunday: This day means the day of the sun. There are many sun gods across culturally. The sun signifies creation, protection, power and good health.
2. Monday: This day means the day of the moon. The moon is closely related to reflection as the moon's light comes from the reflection of the sun.
3. Tuesday: Tuesday is named after a god of war called Tiw.
His main characteristics were that of honor, justice, and courage.
4. Wednesday: This day is named after Odin ( who also goes the name Woden) who is the father of all Norse gods.

5. Thursday: This day is named after Thor who is the Norse god of thunder.
He is represented riding a chariot which is drawn by goats while wielding a hammer.
6. Friday: Friday is named after Frigg who is the Norse god of love and fertility. In most sources she is described as a wife to Odin.
7. Saturday: Saturday is named after Saturn who is the Roman god of agriculture. Also known as Cronus who is son of Uranus and Gaea.
He led the Titans ( His brothers and sisters) to revolt against their father to become king of the gods.
